Our primary goal is to provide student focused, hands-on experiences that include classroom/industry best practices to enable students to start to develop their industrial automation competencies; with a blended (in-class and hands-on) delivery that includes student-based exercises, expanded training on interconnectivity and a clearly defined pathway for students to pursue an Advanced Manufacturing/Robotics Industry 4.0 career.
The Core Training program gives participants hands-on experience in programming and operating Universal Robots (UR) systems. This 2-day course covers key tasks like pick-and-place operations, palletizing, and hooking up peripherals like sensors and conveyor belts. Students will learn how to fine-tune robotic programs for everyday applications, plus get a solid grasp of important safety concepts. The course also introduces some online tools and resources for programming.
Graduates of the Core Training program gain strong skills in robotics programming and automation. Ready for roles as robotics technicians, automation specialists, or engineers, they come prepared with hands-on experience programming UR robots for tasks like palletizing and pick-and-place. These skills apply especially well in industries like manufacturing, logistics, and food processing, where robotic systems are becoming essential to boost productivity and efficiency. The training opens doors to careers in advanced automation technologies, setting graduates up for success.
Take the first step towards your career in robotics in manufacturing! All of the training on Roboticscareers.org has been vetted by industry experts and will give you the skills that employers need.
